It's unique and had the ability to be great, but it's also in dire need of updating and renovating. We have rarely felt our lungs tighten so much just from breathing the air in a building, and the mattresses have to be fifty years old. If you want to rent a place for a big bachelor party, its fine. Don't take your family here for a relaxing getaway.

Last winter my family was also able to enjoy Christmas at the Pelican Lake Hotel due to the newly updated heating system. This summer the owners are accommodating a family wedding on site. We look forward to many more summer sunsets over Pelican Lake! -Neil Wallace of the Otzelberger Family.
We were there over labor day week and had a fantastic time. Plenty of room for everyone and fun to use the kitchen that was so well stocked with cooking and fun serving dishes. The lake was great. The trees in back- to be able to sit in the sun or shade so we were able to enjoy being outside without worring . The history of the place and old woodwork very comfortable for all. Thank you and we HIGHLY recommend the hotel for a family reunion and we will be back. The O'Gorman family.
